MESSAGE FOR 2012
Dear friends of Carmel,
Praised be Jesus Christ!
We
thank God our heavenly Father for His
many blessings in 2011, and we are most
grateful to Him for the wonderful
friends He has brought into our lives.
Thank you dear friends for your generous
prayers and donations. We know that you
make many sacrifices to help us. Your
continued interest and help and
overflowing generosity for our Carmel….
your Carmel, in beautiful British
Columbia, are very appreciated. Be
assured of our continued prayers for you
and your loved ones throughout the New
Year 2012.
We
wish to thank His Excellency our Bishop
David Monroe for all he does for our
Carmel and for the whole diocese. We
thank all our fervent priests for their
dedication to everyone in Kamloops
diocese. Their lives in the missions are
sacrificial for all our souls. May Mary
and Joseph daily lead our shepherds to
their Son Jesus.
While it is impossible to mention
everyone who has supported us throughout
the year, we wish to thank the organizer
of this website, the webmaster Ginette
Vallières-D’Silva. Her professional
work is especially given to reaching
families who have problems to solve and
are in need of our encouragement and
prayers. A special mention should be
made to Carmel of St. Joseph Guild, the
Knights of Columbus and the Catholic
Women's League for their support over
the past year.
The
daily joyful ringing of our bells - St.
Michel, St. Teresa of Jesus and St
Teresa Benedicta (Edith stein) are
another call to prayer and
thanksgiving. Our gratitude goes to
Rev. Father Andrew who was instrumental
in procuring this gift from the Most
Reverend Ken Nawakowski, Eparch of New
Westminster. Surprisingly, more
strangers have visited us since the
bells were installed.
We
thank all those who have sent requests
for prayers by email. We present your
cares and hopes to our Eucharistic Jesus
day and night. Our prayers will follow
you each day … asking for God’s
protection in your busy world.
Each Christmas a young family visit us
for a cheery Christmas Carol session
with lovely children with their high
singing voices and graceful sign
language. They enjoy coming to Carmel to
see the Sisters and to visit the Baby
Jesus in His crib in the big Chapel.
We
ask God to bless our families with peace
and love throughout 2012.
Your humble sisters and servants in
Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
